Fanttik X8 APEX EV Tire Inflator Standard (USAWEBFTKN1037118) review

The separate X8 APEX EV Standard SKU has a built-in rechargeable pump, a named EV preset and target stopping. Its linked 2025 manual lists the charging cable but says the USB charger is sold separately; its package diagram differs from the separately reviewed EV Deluxe package.

A useful fit for

A document-supported candidate when a buyer wants a rechargeable pump for the manufacturer's EV/car, bicycle or ball modes, with target stopping and a manual-listed Presta adapter and ball needle. The Standard package lists a charging cable but not a USB charger.

The main tradeoff

It is a different exact SKU and package from the X8 APEX EV Deluxe, not a color label: the Standard manual lists no USB charger, while the Deluxe manual's box diagram lists one. The model manual cover does not print USAWEBFTKN1037118; chuck subtype and independent pressure accuracy remain unknown/conflicting. No 12 V, clamp or trailer-powered pump plan is documented.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can the exact EV Standard inflate a car or EV tire from its own battery and stop at a target?

The exact U.S. item record identifies Standard SKU USAWEBFTKN1037118, and its directly linked X8 APEX-EV manual describes a built-in 11.1 V / 28.8 Wh battery, EV and car settings, and automatic stopping. The EV range is 36–48 PSI and the car range 32–40 PSI; those are pump settings, not vehicle advice. Set the vehicle maker's cold-pressure target. The Standard manual says the pump cannot inflate while charging and says the USB charger is sold separately.

Does the EV Standard package document bicycle Presta use?

Its page-linked manual package diagram lists a Schrader-to-Presta adapter, and the bicycle control spans 30–145 PSI with a 45 PSI default. These are device settings, not a bicycle recommendation; follow the tire maker's target and verify the exact valve, adapter and reach. The family manual does not identify the tire-end connection as press-on or twist-on.

Can the included ball needle be used with automatic stopping below 5 PSI?

The Standard manual lists a needle adapter and a ball mode adjustable from 4 to 16 PSI, but separately says items needing below 5 PSI cannot be automatically inflated. That low-end boundary matters even though target stopping is documented. Follow the ball maker's pressure, remain present and do not treat the 150 PSI maximum or page accuracy claim as evidence of low-pressure precision.

Document-based review · exact U.S. Standard item USAWEBFTKN1037118

The Fanttik X8 APEX EV Standard is a rechargeable tire inflator with a named electric-vehicle setting, automatic target stopping and separate bicycle and ball modes. Its exact U.S. item record identifies SKU USAWEBFTKN1037118; that is not the classic X8 APEX SKU USAWEBKFTKN1037118 or the later EV Deluxe package SKU USAWEBFTKN1051634. This review follows the Standard item page and the English manual that page links. The manual cover says X8 APEX Air Inflator rather than printing the retail SKU, so the manual bridge is direct through the item page, not a cover-level SKU match. The conclusions below are source-based, not a hands-on test.

Standard is a distinct listing and charging package

Fanttik's exact item page offers a Standard configuration and links a 2025 X8 APEX-EV manual. The page's one-variant storefront record resolves the Standard item to a single Default Title variant and the exact SKU above. A prior source path observed for this row returned 404, but Fanttik's current collection link opened the matching exact Standard item page and record; the current source resolves the identity without borrowing the Deluxe SKU.

The manual's Standard package diagram lists the inflator, USB charging cable, air tube, needle adapter, manual, storage bag and Schrader-to-Presta adapter. Its charging section says the USB charger is sold separately. That package detail is a real buying difference from the separate EV Deluxe manual, whose diagram lists a USB charger; the Deluxe page image caption says 38 W, while its manual does not identify output. Do not transfer the Deluxe supply to Standard. The Standard item page's own first image shows a pump with a tube and small fittings, but a posed image is not a complete seller-box inventory.

Battery operation is the one documented compressor plan

The linked manual specifies an 11.1 V / 28.8 Wh internal battery, USB Type-C input at 5 V / 3 A, USB-A output at 5 V / 2 A, and a charging time under four hours with the described supply. Fanttik's page and the manual describe a power-bank output, but the manual says the compressor cannot inflate while charging. The USB port is therefore not another pump-power arrangement, and no 12 V socket, direct-clamp or trailer-auxiliary pump plan is documented. Charge ahead of the job rather than treating the package as a corded roadside inflator.

The manual's approximate 40-minute battery statement is explicitly without a load at 25 °C; it says heavy load and lower ambient temperature can reduce battery life. It is not a repeated-tire workload test. Fanttik also advertises a fill-time example for a 26.4-inch EV tire. That is a manufacturer example with no independent protocol here, so it cannot predict the time, battery use or number of tires for a different starting pressure, vehicle or ambient condition.

Use the pressure ranges as controls, not recommendations

The manual lists a 3–150 PSI manual setting span, EV mode from 36 to 48 PSI (42 PSI default), car mode from 32 to 40 (36 default), bicycle mode from 30 to 145 (45 default), and ball mode from 4 to 16 (8 default). The pressure-reference table is labeled reference only. Set the value from the vehicle placard or the tire, bicycle or ball maker; do not substitute a default, an EV icon or the compressor's 150 PSI maximum for the proper target.

Target stopping is documented, but the low end matters: Fanttik says items requiring below 5 PSI cannot be automatically inflated and should be handled manually with caution. The manual warns against leaving the pump unattended and notes that the hose/body junction may become hot after a long run. Ball mode therefore does not erase the low-pressure limitation. The manual's sensor-accuracy figure is ±2 PSI; Fanttik's exact page advertises ±1 PSI. No independent calibration or gauge comparison resolves the difference, and neither value should be presented as a verified measurement.

Valve options are useful; the chuck subtype remains unknown

The Standard manual package panel names a Schrader connection, a Schrader-to-Presta adapter and a needle-valve adapter. That gives the pump a broader intended-use set than a car-only unit, while still leaving fit dependent on the actual valve, adapter, space and hose reach. The manual lists a 460 mm air tube, but that is not a guarantee that it reaches a particular wheel or can be handled without strain. It does not say whether the tire-end connector is press-on or twist-on, so this assessment makes no claim for either chuck filter.

How it differs from nearby X8 listings

The Standard EV's five manual modes are manual, EV, car, bicycle and ball. There is no motorcycle mode in that table, so the motorcycle use and twist-on connection documented for the separate classic X8 APEX do not transfer. The EV Deluxe has a separate SKU and package evidence: its older family manual includes a charger, while Standard's linked 2025 manual says the charger is sold separately. These are not merely two names for an identical seller box. Choose by the exact SKU and package, and verify the selected offer's supply and fittings.

This is a plausible document-based candidate for a portable EV/car top-up, bicycle Presta task or sports ball when a built-in battery and target stop are priorities. It is less compelling when a supplied wall charger, verified gauge accuracy, a known press-on/twist-on chuck, a 12 V pump route, motorcycle capability, or proven repeat-duty performance is essential. See the task-by-task X8 EV Standard guide and compare the exact alternatives before relying on an accessory or pressure claim.
